An Indian wedding Singapore held inside a 3-room HDB is so beautiful! Even though it gets affected by the COVID-19 restriction

COVID-19 is a great disruption to our life but that never stops this couple from getting married. Take a look at this Indian wedding Singapore held inside a 3-room can be so beautiful!

Before the Circuit Breaker period kicks in to curb the spread of COVID-19. A wedding with less than 10 people is still allowed. Many wedding couples who already long-planned for their wedding event had to decide whether to postpone or continue by shrinking their event to a small intimate event.

Nothing can stop their wedding

Dan and Zara who long planned their wedding are affected. They actually intend to hold their wedding reception at their void deck to host around 300 pax of guests. With the restriction of 10pax in an event, they had decided to shrunk their guest list and had their wedding solemnization to be held inside a 3-room HDB flat. I’m impressed by how much precautions measures they had made, such as temperature taking, sign-in book, sanitizer lotions at their main door, face-mask ready available for their guests and plan their guests to come in batches at different timing.

Small Wedding but is beautiful

Having their wedding solemnization inside a 3-room HDB flat doesn’t stop them and their guest from the joy of celebration. They had a beautiful floral backdrop right in the middle of the living room, simple decoration to beautify the place, buffet at the corner prepared by their family members. They started off with their wedding solemnization with their vows and ring exchanged, after that the friends and relatives came in batches at different timing. Guest came to give their best wishes to the couple, enjoying food and accompany. They even had a casual dance near the end of their wedding. Their family and guest are extremely friendly and fun-loving. Even I as an external vendor was also treated as part of their guest and I really appreciate that.

How we met

Zara got to know me when I was her friend's photographer around 8 years ago. I'm so glad that they remembered me and engaged me as their wedding photographer around 1.5years in advance. As a photographer, I not only want to document down their event but hope to go the extra mile by capturing photographs in an artful way for each of my couples. This can be quite a challenging task when I was confined to shoot the event for 6hrs within and outside the 3 room flat. I’m really honor and glad that they gave me the confidence to document their wedding day,

Conclusion

After attending their wedding, I truly understand that a wedding celebration is not about the venue or even how extravagant the wedding is. It is all about the people who really care and love you coming together, have fun, catching up and gave their best wishes by being present.
