Wedding at Church of the Holy Spirit Singapore & Grand Hyatt Hotel

A Full Day Celebration Filled with Love, Family and Dance

Some weddings are emotional, some are fun, and some are the perfect mix of both. This wedding day in Singapore was exactly that — heartfelt in the morning, and full of energy at night.

As a Singapore wedding photographer, I had the honour of documenting their full wedding day, starting from their church ceremony at Church of the Holy Spirit Singapore, all the way to their wedding banquet at Grand Hyatt Hotel Singapore.

Morning Church Wedding at Church of the Holy Spirit Singapore

The day started with a beautiful church wedding at Church of the Holy Spirit. The atmosphere inside was peaceful and meaningful — the kind of setting that instantly makes everything feel more sacred and special.

One of the most memorable moments was when the bride walked down the aisle with her father. It was such a touching scene. Everyone turned to look, and you could feel the emotion in the room.

At the front of the church, the groom was already standing there, waiting for her. That moment when he saw her coming in was simple, but powerful. No big drama, just pure love and excitement.

The ceremony continued with the church rituals, vows, and blessings. It was quiet, sincere, and filled with warmth. These are the kind of moments that always photograph beautifully because they’re real — no need to force anything.

Evening Wedding Banquet at Grand Hyatt Hotel Singapore

After the church ceremony, the celebration continued at night at Grand Hyatt Hotel Singapore. The banquet felt completely different from the morning — still elegant, but way more lively and energetic.

The ballroom looked amazing, and once the programme started, you could tell this was going to be a fun night.

Dance Performances That Made the Night Unforgettable

One thing I really loved about this banquet was how much dance was included in the programme. It wasn’t just a typical dinner and speech kind of wedding — it had so much movement and excitement throughout the night.

There were so many highlights, including:

  • A sweet and emotional daughter and father dance

  • The couple’s romantic first dance

  • Family members coming up on stage to give their blessings

  • A super fun surprise where the bride and her friends performed a coordinated dance for the groom

That surprise dance was honestly one of the best moments. The groom’s reaction was priceless, and the whole ballroom was cheering and laughing along.

Ending the Night with an Open Dance Floor

To end the night, the couple opened up the dance floor for everyone. And once that happened, the whole place turned into a party.

Guests were dancing, laughing, taking videos, and just enjoying themselves. It was the perfect ending — not rushed, not overly formal, just everyone having a good time and celebrating together.

As a photographer, these are some of my favourite moments to capture because the joy is 100% real.

Capturing the Full Wedding Story

From the emotional church ceremony in the morning to the high-energy banquet at night, this wedding day was such a complete story.

It had all the meaningful moments — family, blessings, love — and also the fun side of weddings that people always remember.

If you’re planning a wedding at Church of the Holy Spirit Singapore or having your banquet at Grand Hyatt Hotel Singapore, it’s definitely a great combination for a full-day wedding celebration.
