Going to the Registry of Marriage (ROM) is the first step that every couple wanting to become Husband and Wife. After registering with ROM, the couple can choose to conduct their solemnisation ceremony either at outside venue or at the ROM office itself. The solemnisation ceremony is conducted with a Solemniser, two witnesses, and the couple. Friends and family members can also come to witness the wedding ceremony. During the ceremony, our photographer capture the emotions, silly moments, shyness from the couple, joy from the guests and the smiles on their families’ faces.
Many couple chooses to have their solemnisation to be done at the ROM office itself. Even though a simple ceremony which takes around 10 min, it is still an important milestone in your life. Our photographer photoshoot session covers, details shots, your guest mingling around, family photos, the actual official ceremony and outdoor portraits at nearby surrounding. To save your hassle of finding the perfect place at ROM to capture the perfect photograph. We took numerous times at the ROM and knowing the best place to photograph. We will be guiding you and your family to the place to take photo at. We take much effort in the outdoor shoot because this is the best time to capture their moment together when they first became Husband and Wife.
Having an experience ROM photographer to guide you along the whole process of photo taking. It ensures that you would not face chaotic during your ROM on where to photograph after and before the ceremony. In the end, you also ended up home with plain, dark, flat shots of those important moments. This precious moment is a once in a life time moment that cannot be repeated!
Just a reminder for the couple, registering your marriage in Singapore requires a three month notice so be sure to book the ROM date and our photoshoot session early to avoid disappointment. What happens during the ROM photoshoot session?
Typically, we will meet 10 mins before your given ROM slot timing. In the 1st 5 mins, we will take shots of guests mingling with each other and some group shots inside ROM.
We will proceed to the solemnisation room when your turn is called. We will photograph the whole process of the ceremony such as the exchange of vows, putting on the rings and etc. Usually, the whole ceremony will take less than 10 mins.
After the ceremony, we will proceed out through another door. We will do more group shots around ROM areas.
For the remaining time, I will bring the couple for an outdoor shoot. Possible locations are Fort Canning, outside National Museum, Spiral Staircase.
The above is a rough itinerary we proposed. We can follow your itinerary, it’s entirely up to you!
You can bring along some props such as balloons, signage and etc to add fun to the family shots!
After signing the solemnisation ceremony, you may have arranged for lunch or reception for your families and friends. This may be at a separate venue of your choice. We can follow you there too! Do note that the traveling time is part of the photography session.
What is an online gallery and what is it for?
Here is a sample of an online gallery, https://vt-photo.smugmug.com/Wedding/Mario-Kayla/ This online gallery is a value add service from us where all your wedding photos will be uploaded to this online gallery where you can share the online gallery link to your guest and relative for them to view/download those images that they want directly to their mobile phone or computer. This saves the hassle of you sending the images to them one at a time.
How long will the photoshoot be sufficient?
If you have a large group of guests coming to your ROM solemnisation or you want to photograph more couple outdoor shoots. We would recommend 2 hours of ROM photography session to fully capture your wedding day. After all, this day only comes once!
1hr session - $300 (outdoor shoot at fort canning)
1.5hr session - $450 (outdoor shoot can cover 2 locations)
2hrs session - $500 (outdoor shoot can cover 3 locations)
How are our ROM photographs being post-processed? How long will we expect to receive the photographs?
All the good images will be professionally post-processed with white balance, exposure & contrast only.
We will return the photographs within 7-14 working days.

Once confirmed, we will proceed by sending you an official invoice.
50% deposit will be collected to confirm our service and the remaining will be collected right after the photoshoot session.
